to start off im a 20 something trans gal from the canadian west who loves jumping from project to project a bit too much (im working on it okay >_<)
i play trumpet in a lil local band, use to study jazz in uni before dropping out during covid. i also play flute and tenor for fun (winds just make sense to me) and transcribe songs that catch my ear, you may find some lead sheets i've done on the music section of the website! i listen to everything with a bit of favouritism towards jazz, rap, and folk. my recommendations for each would be Alfa Mist, Milo, and Jessica Pratt respectively!
i am obsessed with the Dune series, read and re-read all of the main series (i refuse to read Brian Herberts additions and imo they are more fanficiton than canon) and they are in part why i am so interested in ecology. honestly i recommend everyone at least try reading the first book, there really is something in there for everyone and Frank does such a good job balancing all these unique ideas/themes throughout series.
